My Approach

My approach is based on integrative psychotherapeutic practice. This is a holistic method relating to our various emotional, cognitive, physiological, spiritual, and ecological dimensions. The interdependence of these perspectives affects our health, both mentally and physically. Therefore, establishing and maintaining a balance between them is key to our well-being. In addition, I incorporate the findings of attachment theory, polyvagal theory and trauma theories, to name but a few. I place great emphasis on the developing relationship between the client and the therapist. An environment in which an individual feels accepted and safe is a prerequisite for further exploration.

About Me

From a young age, I was fascinated by different cultures, by the relationship between landscapes and their peoples, and by the way in which each placement in a certain social environment, space and time affects personal development. It is no coincidence that my professional path led to international education, where I have taught both A-level and IB psychology. Over the past 15 years, I also gained experience in management and leadership roles, working as Head of Secondary at a British International School. There are many parallels between being an educator and a therapist. Both roles focus on providing an inclusive, caring and safe environment for individuals who come into contact with me. A supportive and nurturing space can provide opportunities to listen to ourselves, acknowledge our hurts and our needs, and to gently make the next step when we are ready.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, attending musical events, walking in nature, language learning and travel.
